The You Matter Safety Card is designed to help teens understand how stress, trauma, and unhealthy relationships can affect their health and well-being. Created with input from young people, health providers, and school-based health center staff, this easy-to-use tool supports conversations about healing, resilience, and finding support.

The card helps teens recognize signs of chronic stress, neglect, or abusive relationships and includes practical guidance on self-care, harm reduction, and where to get help, including national hotlines. It can also be used by healthcare providers, educators, peers, and trusted adults who support adolescents.
